Beyond my day job, I help individuals navigate their marketing careers and solo businesses based on my own experience as a senior marketer and consultant for over two decades.

Mentorship packages

Option 1: The Allrounder

Unlimited mentoring calls per month, including after-hours and on Saturdays
Ongoing support via WhatsApp and email
$500 or ZAR5,000 per month

Option 2: The Accelerator

Up to two mentoring calls per month during work hours
Ongoing support via WhatsApp and email
$350 or ZAR3,500 per month

Option 3: The Kickstarter

One mentoring call per month
$150 or ZAR1,500 per month

All the options offer flexible scheduling and a month-to-month commitment. A call lasts as long as you need, typically 45 minutes to an hour, either via video call or WhatsApp—whichever you are most comfortable with.

Getting started

  1. Exploratory call: We'll start with a video call to assess compatibility.
  2. Pick a package: If we're a good fit, choose the package that suits your needs.
  3. Maximum flexibility: We'll schedule regular mentoring sessions (via video call) to discuss challenges and brainstorm solutions.
  4. Upfront fees: Monthly invoices are sent at the beginning of each month, due for immediate payment. You can discontinue at any time, but fees are non-refundable.

Can AI replace your entire marketing department?

I spend my December holidays doing two things: Stress—I wait for the new year to start because I find it nearly impossible to relax when the whole world is unavailable, and the economy is at a standstill. No hard and fast rules when it comes to strategy consulting

Something they don't tell you when you start on your own as a consultant: there are no rules to it - you make it up as you go and as you gain confidence. It's up to you how you want to do it. It's more art than science. I find it quite amazing. There's no right or wrong way to consult, especially as an independent. Take, for example, the near cast-in-stone rule that diagnosis should precede strategy. Although true, I'm finding that I often do diagnosis and strategy almost at the same time as I interact with business owners and marketing directors. Since I only focus on small and midsized clients, I tend to work with organisations with flat structures where decision-makers still have front-end contact with the market.
